We loved looking out any window and being able to see lovely countryside - rolling hills and trees, deer, cows and horses right in the paddock next door. So many activities inside and out for the kids to do (thank you:) and a lovely drive through the countryside and farmlands to get to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (which was the purpose of our trip). Appreciated the well equipped kitchen too - lots of plates, cups, utensils, cookware etc. Would happily stay at the Lodge again.Verified

Being a family themselves, they've thought of everything - games for the kids, pool table for the adults, firepit for those cold nights and even a safe space for your pets! I was sad to see our stay come to an end. That said, it actually felt like a break. The cows, horses, ducks, birds were all beautiful & the farm had something different to offer everyday. Highly recommend this if you need an escape & to quieten the mind & regroup with the ones you love.Verified

The home is immaculately restored and still holds the charm of an old Queenslander that has been loved by generations. We wanted to get away from everything and Sheree’s home is perfect for that. Lots of great DVDs to choose from too. If you are fussy with pillows, bring your own. All beds are firm, so if you prefer soft, you might need a mattress topper.Verified

We had a wonderful time over the few nights we stayed and had plenty for us all to stay occupied (big and small). We can’t wait to return someday. This place is amazing. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back! A slice of serenity away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sheree has thoughts of the little things to make the stay comfortable. The property is well maintained, so much to do and you don't have to go anywhere. Plenty of games for all ages to play.

Where to start...we work all over the country and have stayed in some 300+ Airbnb's for work and leisure...nothing has ever come close to Colinton Country Lodge! The thought that has been put into every aspect of this beautiful space is indescribable. No shortage of things to do and even though it rained for a lot of our stay we had the most incredible time playing games together, sitting on the deck, fishing, playing pool, watching movies, cooking and playing with the dogs. This place is an absolute dream and is exactly what we needed as 4 burnt out young professionals looking for a fun getaway together! Have already booked our next trip out to this slice of paradise and cannot wait to call it our holiday home for many years to come! Thank you Sherree and see you again xoxo

This space was better than expected! The peace and quiet, the gorgeous landscape surrounding the house and the amenities and games provided made for a fabulous stay. I'm already planning a return trip!

What a great place out in the country under 2 hours drive from Brisbane. There are plenty of activities (pool table, badminton, board games, the creek, etc) to keep you entertained. It's also only a short drive to some great little country towns and pubs, that you can explore and learn a bit of the history around the region.

Lovely peaceful stay in this old country house. Loved the rural setting and cattle, horses, deer, and rabbits. House was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
